From the Frenchmen St. scene to cutting-edge festivals, New Orleans is a vibrant, creative laboratory. Performance and exhibition opportunities abound on-and off-campus. Our faculty are ”out on the scene” and have the inside track to helping our students find opportunities to perform, exhibit and educate. The University of New Orleans School of the Arts brings together five arts disciplines: Arts Administration, Film, Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts, to expand on UNO’s rich arts traditions, share resources and training across disciplines, and address 21st Century career challenges. The University of New Orleans School of the Arts meets and often exceeds national standards, and ranks among the leading cultural and arts education centers in the Gulf South.
