Research at UNO

Creativity

UNO researchers work with blank canvases and with Petri dishes; they study newspaper clippings as often as hormones. From the anthropologists to the zoologists, our experts draw on their vivid imaginations to question assumptions and seek out the truth.

Innovation

UNO investigators are innovative—they create new ideas and bring them to fruition. Our researchers generate patented technologies, reform accepted operational systems, and make valuable advances with the power to improve everyone's quality of life.

Scholarship

UNO students, faculty, and staff participate in rigorous academic pursuits with wide-ranging implications within their fields of study. The achievements of our professors, administrators, and rising professionals disrupt industries and expand on existing knowledge.
