Biography

I study problems in quantum information theory with a probability and statistics viewpoint. I have developed new statistical methods for analyzing experiments in quantum physics and new protocols for device-independent random number generation. My interests also include the geometric structure of probability distributions arising in quantum mechanics and the phenomenon of multipartite nonlocality. Check out my research-in-60-seconds video and feel free to contact me about any potential openings for students and/or postdoctoral researchers - I am currently soliciting applications for a postdoc position and have open graduate student positions as well!
